Three executed in western Iran city Tue. 13 Jun 2006

Tehran, Iran, Jun. 13 – Three men were hanged in city of Qazvin, west of Tehran, state-run dailies reported on Tuesday.

The men identified as Saji Mohammadi, Ali Shahsavari, and Hossein Barchlou were hanged inside the city’s main penitentiary in the early hours of Monday.

The sentences were carried out in the presence of the prison judge and a representative of the State Security Forces.

The men were all accused of drug possession.
