 Tehran, Iran, Aug. 17 –
Workers from the city of Abadan, southwest Iran, gathered
outside the town hall on Wednesday demanding their overdue wages.
The protestors, who were all civil servants, said that they had not received
their salaries for several months.
They complained that they were unable to provide for their families during
this period.
